Common Fee Types
- Activation fee: charged when activating the funded account (e.g. Bulenox $98–$898, sometimes refundable)
- Monthly/subscription: during evaluation (TopStep, Earn2Trade, etc.)
- PA fee: funded account admin (Apex $85/mo)
- Reset fee: reopening after a blown account (TPT $0, others $50–$150)
Calculating Total Cost
Total = eval fee + activation + monthly fees + resets × reset fee.
- One-time fees (Apex, TPT) suit long-term; monthly models (TopStep, Earn2Trade) suit short sprints
- Refund policies offset risk: FTMO, FundedNext refund the fee with the first payout
